HI welcome to PeachyPop’s Book Loft what this is, is I have read a book and I will be sharing it with you of why you should read it and that stuff and then I will share something about me and possibly a “one sentence news report.”
So the book I will be sharing with you is ” The in between.” This book was written by a hospice nurse (which is what I want to go up to be.) named nurse Hadley it is some of the stories of her patients. There are some part that may be scary to some people so I recommend who ever is going to read this should be over the age of 10. This book has many people who have been a patient to nurse Hadley there is a chapter about how she cares for a homeless person. A lady that thought there was a fire when there really was not. And a chapter about a man who was fine at the beginning and then thought his grandma was talking to him and when he passed the dog whimpered like he knew. There are plenty more chapters too. So I definitely recommended this book because for people like me who want to be a hospice nurse this book definitely tells you what is like sometimes inspires people sometimes make people say “maybe not this” and even sometimes make people say “I thought I wanted to be this but I think I am having second thoughts.”
You might be wondering why I want to be a hospice nurse there are 3 reasons why. The first one was, because I wanted to be a doctor at first but then realized that it was too much blood for me. Even though a hospice nurse will have to deal with blood it is not a lot so I think I can handle it. Also when my Grandpa passed he had a hospice nurse and that inspired me to want to help people be comfortable while passing and helping there loved ones. And last but not least this book also inspired me.
Since this book inspired me it definitely can to you too.
Now time for a little about me I have many things/jobs I want to do when I get older. First become a hospice nurse, make newspapers, own my own library, work at my best friends restaurant, and make my own cafe that is Twilight the saga themed.
